BELGIUM

Belgium is a country in northwest Europe. It is one of the smallest and most densely populated European countries (10.5 million of inhabitants), but Belgium is less densely populated than Monaco. Belgium is one of the founding members of the European Community, and its capital, Brussels, is also the capital of the European Union.

Belgium is a federal state, with 3 relatively autonomous regions: Flanders in the north, where the language is Dutch ("Flemish"), Wallonia in the south, where the language is French, and the centrally located Brussels, which is officially bilingual. Belgium's rich history has left impressive churches, town halls, castles and works of art, dating back to the early Middle Ages, spread around the cities and country-side.

Historically, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg were known as the Low Countries, which used to cover a somewhat larger area than the current Benelux group of states. The great majority of Belgians are Roman Catholic, but regular attendance at religious services is variable.

Belgium has possibly the highest "quality of life" in the world, as testified by its excellent food, housing, health care, education and infrastructure, its world records for high productivity and low poverty, and the appreciation of foreigners residing in Belgium.

I ’ve chosen this country because when I visited Belgium, I discovered a peaceful place where you can walk and you don’t listen to clarinets, you don’t need take care of cars because they respect you. Belgium is safer than Ecuador.

Finally, in my opinion, The Belgium's beer is better than Germany's beer, because the biggest brewer in the world by volume is InBev and it's based in Belgium, and I like the trappist beer.
